History and Message

Owner Laura Woodbury has a surprising history when thinking about an owner of a candy store. Laura previously worked a corporate marketing job at iRobot. After giving birth to three children, Laura decided to try something new. She had always dreamed about owning her own candy store, and she decided to make her dreams a reality. She began attending food shows, and researching the path of creating a small business. Laura formed connections with candy suppliers aswell as toy dealers and put action to her newly formed plan. She started renting an open space and renovated the small store front to her liking. After a few years of forming the backbone of a business she officially opened the store. She's been successful ever since she opened the store, and hopes to continue to expand and thrive as one of Milford's local businesses. Laura's message to aspiring entreprenuers is to do what you love, and do what will make you smile. Find your dream and run with it.
