Owning a Small Business: What it Takes

Laura Woodbury is the only employee of Lemon Drops and Lollipops. She works the counter, stocks the shelves, and orders the goods, all while managing three kids. "Weekends can be busy, and managing everything can be a challenge" says Laura. Laura works to get the brand out there through primarily social media, aswell as word of mouth. Many people either grabbing a bite to eat at the local restaurants or getting a new fish at The Fish Bowl wind up in the shop. Many other customers just happen to drive by and see the bright colors which causes them to check out the shop.
